Warsaw
Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland. It is located on the banks of the Vistula River in central Poland. With a population of approximately 1.8 million inhabitants, it is the country's political, cultural and economic centre.
Warsaw has a rich history dating back to the 13th century and has been the scene of numerous battles and conflicts. During the Second World War, the city suffered great destruction and loss of life but was rebuilt with hard work and dedication after the conflict.
